Located in an old warehouse-style building currently used as live-work homes for artists and allied professionals, this 2000 sf penthouse has a stunning view of the South End. For our clients, one who is a high-profile industrial designer and the other a hugely successful businesswoman, we employed a pared-down aesthetic that conceptually left them a blank canvas to fill. Taking advantage of the fourteen windows and fourteen-foot sky-lit ceilings, Loft 14 features a series of bright and airy spaces unified by light. Subtle shades of grays and whites, coupled with natural wood accents, create a neutral backdrop for furnishings and artwork. Semi-defined spaces such as the expandable industrial design studio, the second bedroom/library, and a grand living space provide the owners with a variety of flexible arrangements for living, working, entertaining and pure relaxation.
